Default Exhaust fumes coming through the heater

My wife noticed that there is a strong exhaust odor coming through the heater vents but only when the heat is turned on. Anyone else have this issue or know of any quick fixes thanks

I have the same problem with my 07 Pacifica with the 4.0, but I think it is because I removed the exhaust manifold bolts to get the starter out and didn't get them back tight enough. Can some one tell me the torque specs for them?

Hi Dwoos1127,
I couldn't find any TSBs that would address this concern. If you are unable to obtain a successful diagnosis here on the forum, I would recommend having your local service technician look at the vehicle. Please let me know if you would like assistance in scheduling an appointment with your local servicing dealership. I'd be happy to help in any way I can!
