Now must find how to sort out he webasto issue.
What's often forgotten in GV 'burping' is to put the heat and fan to full whack to clear the heater matrix of any air and allow a full volume flow of water and any air it contains, the blue syphon pipe in your photo is already in the highest point of bleed. Best of luck.

Default Jiggle pin

So, I've got the stuck open thermostat issue and going to put in the second one.

Quick question, the stat i've got from my local autoparts shop has a jiggle pin on the flange, I'm thinking this should take care of any airlocking without drilling.

Thoughts???

Wobble pin - direction is pre~determined, the orientation is always 12 O'clock. If you watch the pulse pulse pulse of the return water into the header tank / expansion bottle you will see its not continuous and not under much pressure. So you have a mixture of slack water from the pump and air, the air is always at the top - hence the wobble pin at 12 O'clock. Best of luck.
