Default fuse panel

would the fuse relay under the hood cause me to lose the dash lights,radio and a/c to go wacky? the mechanic thinks i need to possibly replace it

The IPM (integrated power module) could cause those kinds of problems, but you need to ask the mechanic why he thinks that is at fault and what tests has he done to prove that it is faulty?

The connectors under the IPM have been known to get corroded.

Model year? If it's a TIPM on a 2008 and up that is especially a possibility.
