Default IPM Part number for 05 T&C

So my Integrated Power Module was replaced by a mechanic with a used part. Ever since then there have been myriad electrical problems in my 05 T&C Touring (3.8L). I think it was a bad, corroded box and want to replace it. I don't do a lot of electrical work myself, and having it checked by a mechanic would be at least $130, while a new (used) box would be $80. But there are a dozen different part numbers out there listed as being for a 2005 model. I have the part number for the one currently installed (04727079AC), but I'm not sure if that's correct or if it was only what the last mechanic could get. I've had trouble trying to look it up online. Is there a way to find the appropriate part for my car, or will anything listed as compatible with a 2005 model do the job?

Late response as I am new on this forum, so just in case this helps, the part number is 05102969AB . That is for the power distribution box (IPM). I believe the part number you listed is for the Body Control module for a 2003. Be careful when you take the unit out. You unclip it from the fender side and roll it up towards the engine. Then, there will be two gray locking clips that you will use a screw driver to carefully remove. I think most folks try to force it off without removing clips and end up breaking the plastic holding bracket.

has a ton of hard to find parts. You can search for the IPM by entering your VIN on the page. You can always visit the Help Center to see how to request technical support for the part number. Hope this helps.
