Default Key FOB

My key FOB locks and unlocks the doors, but won't open either sliding door or the trunk, any idea why???

Which vehicle and model year do you have?

Have you checked for a blown fuse in the fuse panel under the engine hood?

No, would that affect the key fob?

Can't say for sure on your year, but if there is a blown fuse for the rear hatch and side doors YES, because there is no power to work them. the FOB just sends a command to open or close. Does the buttons inside the car operate the doors and hatch properly or do they not work either?

The buttons inside all work, it's just the key fob

From that I would believe that a portion of the FOB's printed circuit board has gone bad and the fob will need replacement. Have you put a new battery in the FOB yet?
EDIT ..Those buttons act very much like a tv remote, with age and use some buttons wear out and stop working.

Hi Shannon,

Trying a new battery in the fob might help--are you still within the basic warranty of the vehicle (3 years/36K miles)? If so, your Chrysler dealership can look at the fobs under warranty.
