Limp Mode, OBD code P076A... Any help??
Trying to find a definitive answer to the cause of OBD code “P076A - shift solenoid h”.
(2008 Chrysler Town & Country Limited, 6cyl-4.0, 150k)
The van went into limp mode about a week ago. Disconnected battery, reset key, good oil and trans fluid levels, Had the trans filter changed about 30,000 miles ago, had no excessive metal and has had no prior issues.
So far I've found that,
P0760 is an OD solenoid circuit
and
P076A is a DC solenoid circuit.
It can also supposedly be one of many things; bad solenoid pack, bad gasket, transmission fluid filter, and when trying to get a professional opinion the dealers and mechanics parrot these exact things back to me when I ask except for the one that said I need a new transmission($25,00 bucks)and I called B.S. Has anyone actually found a particular issue that causes this?
Thanks for any help in advance.
