Default Oil Leak

Hi,

I think I may have a transmission fluid leak I can see the oil dripping on the right hand side of the engine bay under the battery. Could it be leaking there?

Thanks.

I'd say yes, have you had the gearbox oil changed recently? New clutch or the car serviced?

When I first bought my Voyager, the clutch had just been replaced. They had overfilled the gearbox and initially there was a leak from the RHS as you describe.

There's only a rubber plug seals the filler (so they said) and that was where the oil was seeping from.

give it a good jetwash underneath to clean off all the crud and oil and then have a look the next day to see where the origin of the leak is.

Regards

Richard
