Default P0016 cam and crank

Hello, Cleared up my SRS code but still have my P0016.
It's the cam/crank (P0016) sensors that has got me beat.
I have replaced the flexplate that was cracked as well as both sensors
The check engine light only pops up when the engine reaches normal operating temp.
I can run the car up to 5000 RMP without a problem when its warming up thru all the gears and up to highway speed.
I have not heard of any connection between the operating temperature and P0016
Does anyone have any suggestions

Is yours a petrol. If it is it could be a slack timing chain to blame.

thanks for your reply goggs.
Yes, it's a gasoline 3.3l motor
I had thought the same thing but discounted it as I have no slap or rattle from the timing chain area. The other thing is the fuel economy has not changed since the cel came on.
Would appreciate any members suggestions
