Default quick way to get a chrysler going when it runs out of fuel

I had this problem with my manual Chrysler when I ran out of fuel, the only way I could get it going again was to tow start it. I towed it with the ignition on and put it into second gear, let the clutch out and it eventually started,,,
Good luck

Default low petrol

When you attempt to start the car the fuel pump runs for 2 seconds to pressurize the system then turns off until the engine is running. I suggest that you turn the ignition on and off many times to get the system up to operating pressure.

Hi everyone, thanks a lot for your contributions. I eventually got it moving again by spraying a "Start gas" in the air intake of the engine...i.e., by disconnecting the big air pipe from the air filter to the engine and spraying the gas (3 - 4 short sprays) and vuala! the engine started at once. Thanks again for your contributions!!!!! This is a great site... Love you guys!!!! bye!!
