Default Radio Problem please help!

I have just imported a 2001 Town&Country fron US to Sweden. When i recived the car the radio was disconected. I connected the radio but there is no sound, no clock, no nothing exept three diods flashing on the equalizer. Can some one please give me some advice what to do? Is there some secret code?

... Yes there is a 4 digit number that has to be entered into your radio ... whoever you bought the car from should have this number ... Although saying that, the guy that we bought our car from had 'lost' it ... so we dont know what ours is at the moment ... I am in the process of trying to find it (I contacted the dealer who originally sold the car from new for his advise) ... Because if the battery is disconnected for any reason, this also disconnects the radio ... Try the people you bought it from, it could be as simple as that ... Good Luck

And snap, we've just bought a 2001 model ... 22,500 genuine miles on the clock when we bought it ...

Ummmm, I think if I remember rightly that the digits dont actually show up ... it just moves along the 'dashes' ... then once you put in the right code it will allow you to use the radio ... dont keep trying to guess the code thou lol cause I think it might lock you out (that might actually be rubbish, but not too sure) ... let us know how this goes ...

Have you got the digits we're talking about? ... The fact that you're putting numbers in maybe you have them?

I have got the code from my local chrysler dealer. But im still not able to get the radio to work. my dealer plugged in a computer to my car and the computer didn´t fint the radio. Ill contacted a after market radio dealer in the US and he told me it was a common problem on these radios. I guess i have to order a new one or mount a Pioneer or a Sony in the car now. many thanks for your help anyway.
