With both surface's clean, do use use anything on the gasket, no ?
one side ? both sides ??

I'm sure someone will argue with me, but I only install the gaskets dry.

That was my thinking, guess that was a fight question. Just want too get it correct, tired of this leak.

Update, installed a new solenoid today, simple job, and no more leaks. No one around here had kits, so just went with a new one. Thanks for all the help.
