Default Compressor switching on and off

My Ac compressor will turn off randomly sometimes and blow warm air for a while but I figured out that if I pop the hood and tap on the compressor fuse it’ll kick on. I have replaced the fuse, checked wiring, tightened fuse holder, changed relay. Anyone know what could be causing this??

its best if you provide all that info to start with oh the compressor will kick it when the fuse is wiggled. then u have a loose connection.

First logical thing would be low freon high cycle times the low freon will keep the pressures out of range.

low freon or you have a bad hi or low pressure sensor

Low freon might solve the issue

LOL ! Responding to a 1+ year old thread to someone that didn't give a model or year of vehicle in question . AND then didn't bother to read his only response that it would work when he tapped (moved) the a/c fuse. It has a problem in the fuse panel solder joints , as he said he tightened the prongs that hold the fuse.
BUT ....Yes it COULD also be a little low on refrigerant as a secondary issue.

And on researching the member's past postings... it's a 2012 300 s model

bypass the fuse with a jumper lead then see if it still cuts in & out
