Default Cruise doesn't work, help please!

Help save this chrysler from being traded in for a ford. I have an 03 Sebring sedan LXi with a 2.7. Had nothing but problems with this car, it's newest glitch is the cruise control will not work. I took it to the dealer and they told me it was the cruise control servo and wanted to charge me $240 to replace it. Well, I bought a new Mopar servo from another chrysler dealer for $80 and put it on, and it still doesn't work. The cruise light in the dash will come on briefly and then shut itself off. Any suggestions? When pulled the hose off the servo, there was good vacuum, so I think that is working properly.

On a side note, this might or might not be related, we had to replace the clockspring on the car and pretty much since then the horn has not worked reliably. When the clock spring broke, the cruise quit working, horn quit working and airbag light came on.

something is A not connected from the clock spring area or bent or broken wires upon install of the clock spring. Or B wrong clock spring all together.

Well, we have cruise control again, turns out it was the brake switch. There are still electrical gremlins with this car though.
