Default Electrical problem

Anyone experience this situation? Some of the interior lights stay on even though the car is not running. The light showing the triangle for the emergency button, and the console lights cannot be shut off. My battery keeps draining due this. I had the battery disconnected today and the lights still were on. We do not a certified Cadillac dealer in our city and have to travel over 1 1/2 hours to a the nearest authorized service center.
I don't want to pay 100 an hour just so someone can gain experience on this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Well something is definitely amiss on a few accounts here, IF the battery was disconnected both positive(red) and ground(black), there would be NO POWER to keep the lights on.
Also this is a Chrysler forum, not a Cadillac Forum. Just what KIND of auto do you need help with(make/model/year).

You may want to try finding a CADILLAC or GENERAL MOTORS Forum with a GOOGLE search.
