High Pitch whining and fan running
I have an issue where that as soon as I start the engine on my Chrysler Voyager 2.5td CRD manual transmission a high pitch whining occurs and then shortly after a fan start running. This issue happens all the time the engine is running and for a short while after the engine has been stopped.

The heating adjusts and runs fine while this is happening and you can change all fan controls succesfully. It happens even if the heating controls are off or on.
No warning lights appear on the dash at all
does anyone have an idea what may be wrong.
cheers

By "fan" I assume you mean the engine fan. That is supposed to be turned on by the engine computer based on information from the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT sensor). If that sensor is not reading correctly, it could result in the behavor you are seeing.
Not sure about that whine but could it be the fan?
