hi, can anyone please help, i have a 1999 neon 2L 16v se.
it will start from cold with no problems and gets up to normal water temp, the radiator fan kicks in with no problem and every thing seems ok but then it cuts out after 15-20 minutes and will not start for hours usually overnight, has any one had the same problems.

 

Possibly a clogged fuel filter. Had similar problems years ago and that's what it turned out to be.

 

is it possible that the crank shaft position sensor is faulty !

 

Unlikely that it will run at all with the crankshaft position sensor being bad. Have you checked for codes?

 

Have checked for codes they are P1684 and P0320 what does this mean ?
