Default No Brake Lights!

Can anyone tell me what may be the cause of having none of the 3 brake lights working on a 2000 300m? The fuses are good in both fuse boxes.......wiring? And if so, where would I begin to look?

There's a brake light switch at the pedal. It's the same switch used by the cruise control to kick out when brakes are touched. Does that work?
