Default Pacifica 2007 broken piece on fuel pump

I have a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica that has the 4 litre all wheel drive. For some reason the vent line between the 2 fuel pumps keeps breaking. This is dangerous when your tank is over 3/4 full you can smell gas in the car. I'm not the only person with this problem. I know of 5 others in the place I live. When will this be resolved and who do I contact. My dealer keeps telling me to drive it and replace the gas cap every 2 months. If you can smell gas then it can ignite from any small spark.

Can you please PM me your VIN and dealership information so I can look into this further?

How do I PM you? I live in Pinellas County Florida and my vehicle has been to the dealership in St. Petersburg.
