2006 300 17kMiles needs a new PDC. Has anyone heard of this thing going bad in such a short period of time?

Rear, they had to keep the car overnight to get the job done. What did they say caused the problem with yours?

 

I had a 2001 F150 and it had to changed after 3 months. Evidently there's buss bars in there, that the welds can come loose on, and it's cheaper to replace them then to try and take them apart, taking it out is not always that easy since it's usually buried up under the dash.

 

I have had to replace them for the PDC itself having been damaged or the fuse holds not staying contact with the fuses.
most of the time I have had to replace the fronts ones though with the front controller part.
