Rad cap

Rad cap
Hello,
I would like to drain, flush and refill my radiator but I'm a little confused with the Sebring. In my previous vehicles the rad cap was on the actual radiator and the overflow tub was aside and had its own cap. With my '06 Sebring touring all I see is the cap on the overflow tub at the side of the vehicle. My question is, is the overflow cap the point of entry for me to refill the rad? Is this referred to as a closed system?
Such an amateur question but I've not been able to find anything out online.
Thanks in advance,
Craig

Yes, you fill at the cap on the overflow reservoir. If yours is a 2.7L engine, DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT attempt to bleed the system using the bleed screw on the water outlet manifold at the top of the engine. Attempting to do so will, in all likelihood cause the insert into which the bleed screw fits to spin in the plastic where it is mounted resulting in a leak and ruining the part.
Fill until the reservoir is full and re-fill if necessary after driving the car through a few warm-up and cool-down cycles.

Thank you both.
Okay, so I will drain the rad, cycle through the rad flush fluid, drain, then refill. My only question left is, if I'm bypassing the petcock and simply disconnecting the lower rad hose (method I have not done before) to drain, is the hose simply connected by a ring clamp? I just don't want to damage the hose upon disconnection / reconnection.
Cheers,
Craig
