my 2006 chrysler sebring convertible touring 2.7L v6 will crank over and stumble to run but turns off immediately . i have fuel pressure tested,check fuses,checked relays,changed out crankshaft and camshaft sensors....still nothing. at one point the engine stayed on for 10 min then shut off and didnt start again. i had a mechanic with a huge scanner come by the house and ran test...he said the engine is fine and that the problem lies in the electrical.....has anyone heard of this happening ?

it could be as simple as a short where wiring rubbed through somewhere, or a bad as an ECM replacement. id try running ground continuity tests on the main plugs on the harness first with a multimeter.

i can only ask one other question, do the the lights on the dash go dim and bright while its running? if so its definently a ground connection gone bad.
