("The fuel rod" = fuel tube wtih injectors; someone in duscussion somewhere used that term)
It started! There was a lot of smoke at first but then it cleared up and I let it run for a while. It ran unevenly and got hot (needle got on middle) on idle and "Check Engine" light was on. It used to be a couple notches lower on idle. When I put in drive it died immediately. Several times like that. The only code was "Battery was disconected..." something. I think it's plugged Catalitic Converter but I got no other code from the computer; shouldn't be a code for the Catalitic Converter or the ECU is fried?!?! Dealer can't (or won't) check my computer, they want the car. I'll tow my car to shop now.

(I meant "Injector Rod").
The car started with a lot of smoke and ran for a while (15min.) and smoke cleared up. When I put in "D" it died. Several times like that. Now it's a computer or Catalytyc Converter. At 215k and 10 years old a new computer won't hurt as we can't afford a new car. I can get one from Florida for $179 fully programmed. If there is still a problem I'll try something else.
I think it's "CC" as it ran hot on idle (mid. of scale) but it usually runs a couple of notches below on idle.
