2007 Chrysler 300 2.7L - White Smoke Coming From Hood
I hoping for the best but thinking that this may be the dreaded head gasket issue. The other day I was driving for about 25 minutes and when I went to park and shut down the engine white smoke started coming out of the hood near the air box and radiator. I have also had an intermittent burning smell from the vents. However, the temp gauge has never up past the mid-line. I tried to change out the thermostat but quickly realized I didn't have the tools needed so decided to just drain the old fluids and add new ones and test it out. While burping the coolant I noticed smoke coming out of the coolant reservoir and old oil down the front of the engine behind the serpentine belt. I'm thinking this might be the end for this car, by the way it only has about 120000 miles on it. Hoping I can still save it.
