Hi all, Just picked up my 2003 2.5 Grand Voyager today, loving it, I think it drives very nicely. I will be using it for a house move, and then general workies van as I do the house renovation.
Everything seems to work, except the thermostat seems to be stuck open, runs very cool, but no matter, I have a thermostat to fit in the top hose!

I have been doing a lot of browsing, so I know about the turning the light dimmer to off to stop the battery discharging. The thermostat tip is worth its weight in gold, very glad I found this site!
Cheers, Ian

My first one was a 2002 with a towbar. Between the seats out and a 6x4 trailer, 2 runs moved a 2 bed flat.
I've recently bought a stow and go one, fitted a top hose thermostat today and it's now warming up lovely.
If you have a multimeter, check the altenator charging voltage. If thats low, theres a fix for that too (the discharge issue).
Welcome to the site.

Thank you for the welcome, i added the 2nd thermostat today, bit of a push to get it in there, but warmed the hose up with a heat gun and used some silicon grease.
Ran it for a bit to check the coolant level, got up to just over the 1/4 mark
on the temp. gauge, which it hasn't done before, so looking good.
A great tip!

I checked the battery voltage with the engine running and the headlights on, 14.2 I think it was, so that seems ok.
I need an interior rear view mirror next, mine is missing for some reason, replaced by a poor small thing
