Default Newboy on the block

Just bought a Grand Voyager 2007. Hopefully all will be OK. I have a Rover 75 which I love, but the Memsahib and myself are getting older. So I have bought the new car as it is so much easier to get in and out of. I also has lots more ***** to play with.
I have just put a new battery in the rover. So if it fits I would like to swap it for the one in the Voyager. When removing the battery from the Voyager, will I have to keep power on from another battery? I do not want to find out the I have wiped the memory in the on board computers, and have to pay a fortune to have it reprogrammed. Also I can't believe that one has to change the engine oil every 3000 miles, according to the handbook.

Welcome to the forum. Changing the battery won't hurt the engine computer, but I don't know about your radio. Try posting your question in the Voyager section of the Forum further down the front page. Lots of Voyager owners hang out there and probably can answer all your questions.

Thanks for that, and thanks for the welcome. As long as I don't blow the computer up thats what I wanted to know.
