Possible problem with transmission output speed sensor and/or engine computer and/or body computer and/or connecting wiring. We could sit here and guess for hours but it would only be guesses. The place to start with modern electronically controlled cars is to connect the car up to a proper scanner to look for error codes in the computers of the car. Repair efforts need to be guided by what the car can tell you, not by guesses. A good repair facility will start by running the proper diagnostics. As a first effort, you could take it to an auto parts store to see if their scanner shows anything. They are often free but they don't have the best scanners so they may not find everything that's there to be found. The dealership will have the best scanners but they will charge you for running the diagnostics.

BEEN DOWN THE SCANNER PATH....scanner onlys tells what instrument cluster shows...and considering theres two totally different areas, speed output and fuel level...the two aren't connected...but it's one side of the cluster and car stumbles and stalls after 60 mph...

You could have mentioned the scanner in your original post. There are scanners and there are scanners. The ones they attach for free at the parts store have certain capabilities. Better scanners are much more capable. "Down the scanner path" leaves many possibilities unanswered.

For your cluster problem, try going here:

Speedometer Repair | Instrument Cluster Repair | Odometer Repair | Mr. Whizard

The guy will answer questions on his site.

Google those numbers. They seem related to your problem. Speedo and fuel level sensor. Doesn't appear to be a DIY repair. Likely going to be replacing the fuel pump or wiring to it. If the fuel pump can't maintain pressure at 60 mph, you might get stalling. Fuel level sensor is also in the fuel tank. So the module back there might be bad ot there could be a wiring problem.
