Just brought my wife's "new" Chrysler 300M home, bought it on eBay in California and drove it 1500 miles home to Northwest Arkansas. OUTSTANDING car! My car is a '97 Jaguar XJ6. I'm hard pressed as to which is a better ride. And the Jag was always my favorite of favorites.
Anyway, I've figured most everything out except a couple of things. I hope I'm wrong, but is there no oil or alternator gauge other than the idiot lights?It have all of ther available options.Are the 3 hinge cover things in the package shelf for a car seat hookup? If not, what? And lastly for now, if I start out with the trans in the 1 position, shift to 2nd and than 3 , can I return to the D (4 speed auto) by just moving the shift lever to the left(past 2and1) and in D? Of course I wouldn't want it to down shift while doing this. I've read the book but am not quite clear on this.
