Default Oil leak at sensor

I have an engine oil leak at a sensor position (back of the engine, just above the right drive axle close by the transmission (see the picture). Hope you could help me confirm this makes sense (I watched see the oil dripping so pretty sure) and understand what this sensor is ... I will be happy to buy the sensor and any oring going with it to fix the leak
Thank you all !

Oil pressure light switch leaking. Best to buy OEM as aftermarket ones tend to cause issues with light flickering at idle.

That is a leaking oil pressure switch.
When you replace the switch, be sure to completely clean all the oil off of the connector and it’s contacts.
On a 2.L V6 a leaking oil pressure switch is not uncommon.
The location of the switch subjects it to very high heat. (I moved the switch on my 2.7L to up in the engine compartment.)
A flickering dash oil light is usually caused because hot oil pressure at idle in a 2.7L is right around 5psi – the set point of the pressure switch.
