Default Starting issues 2.4

A couple days ago car wouldn't start, was making dead battery sounds..clickety clickety. Gave it a jump, started right up. Since then it has been rather finicky, sometimes starts sometimes doesn't sometimes starts to make noise then turns over. Husband tested battery and alternator said they are fine. Then he noticed a loose wire leading into the starter. Says it is loose into the connector. One wire into a white male end connector that attaches to the female end on the starter. Called dealership, they said they don't sell that connector, what the heck...help????

Dealers don't sell individual connectors but sometimes you can find what you need at the local auto parts store. Try that route.
