Default Where is transmission fluid pressure transducer?

I have a 2007 Sebring Touring with a 2.7L motor and a DFF 4 speed automatic transmission. I have sufficient symptoms justifying replacement of the transmission fluid pressure transducer - Mopar part 5078336AC. It seems to be widely available OEM and aftermarket but found no information where it is located or how to replace. Is it inside the transmission and if so what needs to be removed to access it?

Why do believe the pressure transducer needs to be replaced? What are the diagnostic codes being reported?

For chrysler transmission issues, it is suggested to first drop the pan, replace the filter and refill with licensed atf+4. Fresh atf+4 has been known to clear up a number of transmission issues. A fuzzy magnet and black/gray film on the pan are ok, metal chunks are not.

Code P0871 has been present before any transmission symptoms occurred. The transmission recently became stuck in first gear and all gears in the dash display now appear with boxes around them. I did drop the pan and the fluid is clean and there are no metal chips. I still don’t know where the fluid pressure sensor is but suspect if I remove all those little bolts and torx screws to drop the valve body the sensor will be on the top side.

We’ll? Anyone? Am I the only one with a Chrysler DFF transmission experiencing these symptoms or cannot confirm the location of the fluid pressure transducer?
