Default AC Heater controls display not working

I have researched this problem and found that the fix was to resoldier 3 blue resistors. To get to these you need to first pull the Heater/radio bezel out. The controls will come with the bezel. Next there is 6, 4mm headed screws that needs to be removed to separate the unit from the bezel. Take the 2 Philips screws from the fan assy and pull it off the board. That leaves 2 more screws to be remove from the shield. Once they are remove you'll find under the shield another screw holding the circuit board, remove it and then the board will come apart. Do your self a favour, hold the face of the control unit down and you won't loose the little rubber pins. Your going to have to take the fan **** off before you can separate the two pieces. Turn the circuit board over and in the upper right corner you will see the 3 resistors. Take a soldier iron and quickly run it over the ends of the resistors. This cured my problems. Reassemble the unit. Enjoy.

By the way, this factor operates better then it ever has. It no more believes it is being thieved so when we get in and convert the key it goes. Sometime it's challenging to chew the topic and let the supplier fix it but this isn't like my 1964 collection. I'm going to adhere to phone perform.
