Default Help needed!!

I was doing the timing belt replacement on my 2005 Chrysler 300, 3.5 V6. While this hurdle happened!!
I tried to pull the crank shaft pulley out and I used a small 3/8th socket extension as my distance piece while using the 3leg puller. Problem is now my extension piece is firmly stuck into my crank shaftand not getting released after I took out the puller tool. I tried to tap it using small hammer but in vain!!
Any suggestions, I even took out the radiator for better access.
Kindly send in some tips
