The May update will include a partial result for the 2007.

To provide an additional benefit, I recently enhanced the related repair history survey so that it can (optionally) be used as a personal car maintenance record for cars 2000 MY and newer.

As always, more participants would be helpful.

We have our first result for the Chrysler Aspen. With a reported repair rate of 92 repair trips per 100 cars per year, the 2007 is worse than average. But the sample size is very small, so this result it not precise.

Thank you to everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in August and November. With more participants, we could provide more precise results.

In about a week we'll start previewing the next set of results to participants. The preview results will be updated as responses come in.

Angry Reliability? LOL

I don't use my 07 Aspen as much as I would like because of the water leaks and electrical gremlins. Bought new and with only 47k on it now, it is in the shop for the second time. There is standing water under the drivers foot pedals from the most recent rain. After the dealer "cleaned and repaired" the sun roof drains two times I am now being forced to pay $100 dollars for the dealerships water leak pro to come this Friday. Furthermore, because of this water leak, I have developed some headache electrical problems. At any given moment when driving or parked ALL electrical functions would crap out. Specifically, the radio, power windows, locks, brake lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, speedometer, tach, AC etc don't work. Also, every light on the dash cluster that there is, is lit up. Even the little squares around the gear selection which tells you whether your in park, reverse or drive. When I brought my Aspen in for these electrical problems (twice) they couldn't fix it. When diagnosed, there were to many codes to pin point the problem. On the second attempt the truck temporarily fixed itself and I was told to come back when it does it again. TO BE CONTINUED

We have upated the results for the Chrysler Aspen to include owner experiences through June 30, 2010.

With a reported repair rate of 67 repair trips per 100 cars per year, the 2007 is about average. But the sample size is very small, so this result it not precise.

We'll have further updates in November and February. With more participants, we could provide more precise results and cover all model years.

Updated reliability stats this month.

As always, the more owners participate, the better the information we can provide to everyone.

Chrysler stopped producing the car, and there aren't that many on the road. Good luck with getting more data.
