Default Trailer Hitch Installation

I'd like to get a trailer hitch installed onto my 2007 Pacifica. There are at least a couple bolt-on kits for a reasonable price that have the weight rating I'm looking for.

Under installation notes, it states that it requires lowering exhaust to install. How would one go about lowering the exhaust on this vehicle? I have an 07 4.0L with dual exhaust. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I'm pretty sure they just mean that you have to lower it down to install the hitch then mount the exhaust back in it's original position. I had to do this on my Accord. The mounts for the hitch are on the sub-frame above the exhaust. So I simply had to disconnect the exhaust from the rubber hangers so it can be lowered out of the way to mount the hitch. I don't think they mean you have to permanently lower the exhaust.

I'm interested in this idea too. What product did you buy?
