Default '01 2.5 Diesel Voyager Engine Won't Turn Over

Hi

My Grand Voyager has been sitting on the driveway for about a week, unused, and this morning when I tried to start it, the engine turned over a couple of times and it ran out of steam and ground to a halt. Flat battery? Weird, it's a little damp and 7 degrees celcius out there, but the new-ish battery shouldn't be dead! Anyway, after a good 10-hour charge I tried again but this time the ignition lights don't come on at all! Well, the initial set of lights come on at the key's first position (battery, fuel, handbrake, radio, dashboard, etc, etc), and the heater fan, but the orange coil light and the fuel moisture light (forgot the correct term) do not come on. The engine just clicks when I turn the key to start the engine, but it does not even attempt to turn over.

Any ideas? The immobilizer? Alternator? I haven't done anything different, I just got in and tried to start it? There's over half a tank of fuel by the way ;-)

Thanks

Gordon
