Default 05 Town & Country MV headlight problems

The headights on My Mini Van have a mind of thier own. Used to be if you messed with the switch before you shut the van off they would go off and stay out. Now They don't shut off.
Take the key out and the bell is still dinging. Sometimes they shut off with the timer. Sometimes they turn themselves on when the van is off. Sometimes you open the door and then they come on and don't go off. I getting very tired of a dead battery as a result.
This van has the automatic lights with the sensor behind the mirror. The sensor is clear and clean.
I can not locate a fuse or a relay. Pulled apart the switch and checked it. seems ok. I assume there is some sort of a conroller. BCM, Front controller? Is this a software issue? If it is can I update the software? Do I have to take this to a dealer? Any help would be great.

U will not be able to update your computers dealer only. No updates to fix this issue that I see.
The headlight switch tells the BCM to send a signal to the front controller then to the head lights.
With out a Dealer scanner u wont be able to narrow it down with out throwing some parts at it.
