Default Front Engine Mount.

Here's a little mod I did to a new front engine mount. I added a piece of wood by sticking it on and painting it blue to look the real thing. Mount not likely to rip the rubber now as rebound is limited.
However after it was mounted in place, the engine was lifted with it slightly on the slotted hole, so now I'm getting some vibration.
Hence through bolt that secures engine to mount, needs reset to engines dead position.
So answer here is, if you renew this mount don't try and alter engine position.

Thanks goggs, will not do anything to engine position. Will think about your mod, maybe will do the same.

This rear engine mount, I had a look for it the last time I was underneath and all I could see was an engine bracket going in a body cavity. So how do you get to it.

When i replaced it i had transmission off and bracket was off as well. That bracket holds gear cables also..thats why for me it was easy. I will go tomorrow under car anyway and i have a quick look, if there is better way than stripping down half the car.
