2004 voyager roof bars

Hi Guys.
I own a 2004 voyager and my query is :-
How do you remove the roof bars that go across the roof,
I have taken the bolts out completely but cannot take the bars off.
Any help appreciated.

remove the end cap at the front of the rail and slide the bars out
