2008 T&C stalling, rough idle, hesitation

I think you should do a full service first;
Air filter, fuel filter, oil & filter, spark plugs. If this has helped but still not 100% then replace the coil packs. At least you now know you have a good base to start from with further fault finding and knowledge that your engine should be in a better state of health.

If you mean the plugs, no. Haven't gotten to them yet. I also have to do same on my Ford pickup as it is in the same time period for plugs (and coolant, timing belt, etc., on the van). Too much all at once at this maintenance period.

If you have ANY ignition issues you WILL have codes. something is going on that the PCM does not monitor. what you may say. fuel injectors. try some good fuel injector cleaner and oh don't forget some dry gas. these systems don't like water. an engine temp sensor will do one of two things. if it tells the pcm your engine is warm when it is actually cold it won't start without some coaxing and will not set a code because the PCM sees this as normal. but if it shows it is cold like -40 all the time the PCM will set a code because it wants to see a temp change in a pre determined time frame so temp sensor is out. do the dry gas and cleaner thing and go from there, much cheaper then throwing parts at a problem.

Makes good sense and I will add these to the to-do list for our problem. Any thoughts, from the symptoms the vehicle has been experiencing, as to whether throttle body cleaner and/or MAF sensor cleaner may help solve the problem as well or would they be a waste of time and money in this case. Thanks.

Here's a video link to perform this function. Don't think I need to do it for our van as we've always kept up with the a/f replacement schedule and haven't thrown a check engine light either.

Your van doesn't have a MAF sensor, it uses a MAP sensor to performs a similar function.
