It's highly likely to be the motor.

it will be the brushes in the motor take the top off the motor long black cover and take a look at the brushes , clean the track with some fine grade wet + dry paper and it should work again the best way is to replace the brushes i went to a breakers took the passenger motor apart for the brushes as the passenger window gets less use
all this can be done in situe with the door card removed

the door card is the inside of the door, the handle and trim you look at! ebay search for a door card and that will show you! hard to explain but blindingly obvious, dont mean to sound patronizing. the motor will then be visible inside the door once this is off, the rest you'll work out while there. i always remove what i need to at home first, to save me time at the breakers as you'll be doing the same thing for a second time, there fore find it easier. also this shows you what tools you'll need to take with you to preform the task! good luck.
