Default I was researching the rear heating & cooling system rotting out on an 02 Town & Country.

I was researching the rear heating & cooling system rotting out on an 02 Town & Country when I found this forum. On February 29th I was stranded on the Interstate for 4 hours after my van overheated. It was about 10 degrees outside with a wind chill of -6 degrees. In reading some things on this forum I am wondering if contacting DCX would help me in gettign the system replaced - the Auto shop I had my van towed to said the rear heating and coolong system was rotted through because it was made of steel - not aluminum. Any suggestions??

From my reading, you are correct: this is a common problem. Some folks claim to get some satisfaction from DCX. If you haven't already, you might try looking at the Dodge forum (for the Caravan) where there seems to be more discussion of this issue. Good luck.
