Default No Reverse

2005 grand caravan 3.8L, 175000 miles, i just bought it and only put 6k on it
been working fine, went to store, went to back out, it will reverse a few feet and stops, if i apply gas. i get a clunk noise and acts like its binding up.
i do know i need CV's i deliver amazon with this and takes a punishment, im pretty certain its close to needing wheel hubs

i am leaning towards the CV's need to be replaced. its dark so i cant look under it. when i replaced struts, pads and rotor, the CV boots liked fine 5000 miles ago?

i dont wanna hear "its the tranny" i got stuck in limp mode, aamco said its a caravan needs tranny, so did another shop, paid someone to look at it said same thing. i bought a reman PCM and WOW no more limp mode. $140 VS 2500 SMH
$$ is tight and dont wanna just throw $$ at it, it sat for 6 months b4 i tried the PCM which fixed it
