Default Power tailgate conversion

I am trying to convert my 2007 Voyager to power tailgate, so I have changed the switches in the centre console to include the tailgate open/close. Bought and fitted the motor on the tailgate but I have hit a problem.

I thought the wiring loom would already include the connections and wiring and they would just plug in these items (including the controller) if the customer had ordered the option.

So has anyone done this? What did you do about wiring?

Just to set the tone, I am quite adept at electronics so am not put off by this (yet).

Vince.

OK, I didn't actually say. The connectors are not on the loom! There is nowhere to plug in the controller or motor!

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the diagrams, really appreciate the help. I was aware that there was a chance that programming would be required.

Best regards
Vince.
