Default Replacing the tailgate Voyager

I need to replace the tailgate door due to a dent. It looks reasonably easy to do by myself as long as I know how to reconnect the wires (please see the photo attached). Has anyone done this before? Please advise. The car is 07 Chrysler Voyager 2.8CRD UK version
Many thanks,
Alex

Default Tailgate Renewal.

Hi, god you like to do the odd jobs. Have you tried pushing out the dent.
Well your going to have to strip off the door's facing panels plus all the electrics inside to start with. Then with the unconnected wires ready just to pop out, unbolt the hinges and lift off the door, with enough hands on that is. I would protect the surrounding painted panels with stuck on cardboard as that big door will take off somewhere in the slightest of breeze.

goggs is right, you are going to need a couple of people to handle that door. I wouldn't like to try it solo
