First I apologies if there is a thread on this but I can't find one.

I have a 2002 grand voyager limited and when I press the electric tailgate button on the remote the tailgate bleeps as normal, unlocks but doesn't open.

Any information on this would be appreciated , I can get a new motor and fit it but didn't want to dive down that route if it could be something else.

Also the overhead console buttons for the tailgate doesn't Work only from the key fob.
