I have a 1997 Chrysler Town and Country and since we got the vehicle or shortly after (cant remember exactly) when you go to unlock the drivers door with the key (didn't come with a remote) you turn the key and the door unlocks then abruptly locks again. You can sometimes get it to unlock after turning it several times and fighting with it but usually we turn the key and hold it and open the door but its a pain and the alarm usually goes off. Does anyone know what this problem might be or how to fix it? We have two different keys that it does the same thing with and we don't have a problem starting it so I dont think it has anything to do with the key. Any help is much appreciated.
