When I lock my van all the doors lock but the hatch does not. I can go to the hatch and pull on the handle and it will open. There must be a lock actuator in the hatch. When I lock it I can't here anything in the tailgate like in the side doors. I assume this is an easy fix by replacing the actuator?

Could be wiring problem also. Before you replace the actuator, make sure the signal is getting through. If not, trace the wiring back. Where it goes into the door, it flexes a little with each cycle and could break.
