Power loss uphill in Chrysler voyager 2.4 petrol
Hi all, I'm new to this forum and could do with your advice. I have bought a 2.4l petrol Chrysler Voyager (2003) and have noticed that when I drive uphill I seem to lose power and have to have the foot flat top the floor it does pick up again but surely this can't be right? Also noticed that when I take my foot off the accelerator whilst driving it shudders ever so slightly Heeeelp I hope I haven't bought a whole heap of problems as the wifey will not be happy

I have no idea how to ask a question so here goes. I have a 98 plymouth voyager. Kinda slow on level ground and going up hill if I'm at 60mph starts dropping down to 30mph which is as fast as it will go. What could be the problem.

power loss
Did you manage to find out what was the problem with the lack of power when going up hill?
I have a 2.4 auto and when it sits on 70mph or 120km per hour and put my foot down it drops 2 gears and struggles to tick up as it should.
