96 jxi alternator belt tension adjustement

Default 96 jxi alternator belt tension adjustement

There is an adjusting bolt under the belt tension pulley. When I am turning it in or out it does nothing to the tension of the belt. I need to remove the alternator and have it bench tested. What should I do to release the tension w/o damaging anything?

because there is a second bot u must loosen first then the adj bot will allow it to move

where is that second bolt located? Please be specific, there is very little room and hard to see.

its on the pulls itself the same on you are turing the adjusting bolt on
