WOW! If you moved the tensioner by hand to remove the belt, you are either Hercules or you have a bad tensioner. LOL

Big muscles I guess, like Arnold. Tensioner is fine, wasn't easy to pull up. I put it all back together yesterday as well, job took less time than the removal. About 20 minutes. Only tip I have is to take your time with the top alternator clip, it can be a PITA to remove, and very easy to break. Here are some pictures of it installed. The truck ran very well, with battery lamp no longer appearing.

Well I'm glad you got another issue solved. Hopefully the last one for a while for ya.

I dropped mine off Monday for the issues I mentioned earlier. As suspected, the extended warranty doesn't cover any of it. Guess it's time to cancel that worthless thing and get back what I can.

My drivers seat cushion is very worn and starting to crack. Anyone know if this would be the correct part number to replace a beige interior cover?

COVER. Right & Left. Front Seat Cushion made by Chrysler. #1FN541J3AA

Also - Is there any remedy to rejuvenate a leather steering wheel? Or would we need to buy a whole new unit as well?

According to a new parts manual I just got, that part number is for a Cloth cover in Khaki (which I believe is what they call beige). The leather version list as 1FN551J3AA. Now what is odd is that when I look these two up on Chrysler-Partscenter.com (and it confirms the cloth vs leather) it list the cloth one as being more expensive than the leather. Would of figured it the other way around.

As for rejuvenating the leather steering wheel. Their are products out there to help bring back life to leather. However, they can only do so much. If it is already dried out to the point of cracking, it's probably beyond repair.

If it's just really dirty like mine was when I bought the truck, start with a microfiber and an all purpose cleaner and go more aggressive from there until it's clean. I ended up using a magic eraser very lightly to remove all the dirt, and it worked great. You have to be careful with this, as it's easy to remove the protective coating on the leather.

It's past the protective coating, probably going to need a new steering wheel.

Truck is running great now, just waiting for the next issue lol.
